BRETT KINGSTON - COACH

AusCycling Level 1 Coach

Training and racing competitively for more than a decade, Brett Kingston commenced his road cycling journey as participation numbers in the sport exploded across Australia. The Carnegie Caulfield Summer Crit series was Brett's first major win, taking out the series in 2009/2010. Shortly after reaching A grade, Brett sought out a coach and David Sturt was the choice. Results achieved under David include stage wins at the Tour of Bright, Tour of East Gippsland, Baw Baw Classic and a State Crit title, as well as Melbourne to Warrnambool race finishes.

Brett has gained a great deal of satisfaction pursuing his passion for road cycling, which has been shared with teammates and training companions since the establishment of THB. Brett now enjoys passing on his knowledge and experience as a THB coach with upcoming athletes in the program. He respects the investment of time this sport demands, and looks to help others experience the same level of fulfilment he has.

“Having personally benefited from working with David as a rider, it is exciting for me to be coaching at THB and helping others reach their potential”.
